Nicholas Dingley, known by his stage name Razzle, was a British musician and drummer, best known for his work with the glam metal band Hanoi Rocks. Born on December 2, 1962, in the UK, Razzle joined Hanoi Rocks in 1982, contributing to their distinctive sound that blended punk rock energy with glam aesthetics. The band's notable albums include "Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Rocks" (1981) and "Two Steps from the Move" (1984), the latter of which features the hit "Don't You Ever Leave Me." Razzle's flamboyant style and charismatic presence helped define the glam rock scene of the early 1980s, influencing a generation of musicians. Tragically, his life was cut short when he died in a car accident on December 8, 1984, while riding with Mötley Crüe's Vince Neil, who was driving under the influence. Razzle's legacy persists through the continued admiration of Hanoi Rocks and their influence on later bands within the glam metal genre, including Guns N' Roses and Poison. His contributions to the music scene during a pivotal era for rock continue to be celebrated by fans and musicians alike.
